Vinyasa 60 is a 60 min dynamic vinyasa style yoga workout that equally builds strength and flexibility through a series of postures and athletic movements. The practice leaves you feeling mentally and physically refreshed and is open to all levels from complete beginners to the more advanced.
The Vinyasa 60 sequence has been specifically designed to provide the benefits of a 90-minute yoga class but in less time. Although the foundation of the sequence is based upon the Ashtanga Yoga tradition, each teacher will bring his or her own unique qualities to the classes adding in postures from other traditions such as Vinyasa Flow, Hatha Yoga, Iyengar Yoga.
Friday 6.30-7.30pm Vinaysa 60 class is a Yin Yoga session. Yin yoga stretches and targets both the deep connective tissues between the muscles, and the fascia throughout the body. The aim is to increase circulation in the joints and improve flexibility as the poses stretch and exercise the bone and joint areas. It also helps us to regulate the body’s flow of energy. This restorative practice helps to settle and balance the body-mind relationship and is open to all levels
